The Control Hub

At the heart is our revolutionary Control Hub housing Kelda’s world leading innovative technology. This patented intelligent engineering controls the optimum flow of water, injecting it into a digitally controlled air flow which is accelerated through a shower head with 5 jet-type nozzles creating a spray force 2.4 times the power of a traditional shower for any given flow rate.

Unlike conventional eco showers which allow air into water or simply restrict flow, Kelda’s Control Hub powers a system which delivers low environmental impact whilst delivering an enhanced shower experience.

Intelligent microprocessor

The Control Hub features an intelligent microprocessor that constantly monitors the flow rate and calibrates the air pressure based on a carefully tuned algorithm. From the minute the Control Hub is in operation sensors are continuously sending data back to the built-in microprocessor ensuring optimum performance and efficiency.

Air Accelerator Technology

Positioned within the Control Hub is a state-of-the-art digital fan that spins up to 40,000 revolutions per second. It's lightweight impeller is designed for highly dynamic operation and is capable of generating a rapid build-up of 2.3kPa of pressure, propelling 300 litres of air up to the shower head every minute. Within the shower head water is injected into the air flow and accelerates through one of five jet-type nozzles, creating the perfect size droplets and a spray 2.4 time the power of a conventional shower for any given flow rate.

Shower Monitoring Analysis and Recording Technology (SMART)

Kelda showers can be specified with our innovative Shower Monitoring Analysis and Recording Technology (SMART). This allows the Control Hub to effortlessly collect data on operation cycle times and water volume for smart building management. This is fundamental in helping our partners identify detailed consumption data and adopt best practice.




Installation options

A Kelda shower system can be installed in a rear service void, ceiling space, or if neither is available housed in an elegant panel with integrated control.
